More than half of Canadians (55%) rate their overall health as “excellent” or “very good” in 2011, and two-thirds report high levels of emotional well-being. At the same time, Canadians are experiencing increased challenges as they try to address wellness, healthy living and chronic disease.

The Health Council of Canada has released a new report entitled Understanding and Improving Aboriginal Maternal and Child Health in Canada.
