The Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians is calling for support as healthcare professionals working in struggling EDs across the country are "suffering from PTSD and are poised to leave their profession."

The new confirmed cases are in the health region that covers Labrador and much of Newfoundland's Northern Peninsula, and there are also seven new presumptive positive cases in the region.
