The Healthcare Interview: Making the care connection with telehealth
This year may be a memorable one for telehealth in Canada. The Federation of Medical Regulatory Authorities of Canada may determine that any doctor licensed to practise in any province can perform telemedicine on a patient in a province other than the one in which the doctor is located. This move could usher in an era of increased use of live communication technology to facilitate patient care, says Dr. Trevor Cradduck (PhD), president of the Canadian Society of Telehealth.
