St. John’s Rehab Hospital and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto have reached agreement on a memorandum of understanding that would see the two organizations merge voluntarily to become a comprehensive healthcare provider.

The Ontario government is investing $6.3 million in the Council of Academic Hospitals of Ontario’s Adopting Research to Improve Care (ARTIC) Program, which is aimed at moving research evidence from the bench to the bedside to drive quality and improve patient care.
