HALIFAX—The Dalhousie Medical School has launched two new training initiatives to help both new and established physicians more effectively and safely prescribe opioids. Starting in July, residents in all 55 postgraduate programs must complete an online program that consists of three increasingly focused levels. A continuing professional development course is also being developed for practising physicians.
