The authors of the study suggest that was because this was a community-based cohort and cases of disease were likely more mild than those seen in hospitals. -
Quebec FP sanctioned for having an affair with a patient
A family doctor at Barrie Memorial Hospital in Ormstown, Que., southwest of Montreal, was expelled for five years for having a short romantic relationship with a patient. This is the minimum sanction provided for in Quebec's Law 11 on sexual misconduct.
