More Canadians travelling abroad for medical services
Canadians looking for timely treatment for what ails them are increasingly looking to other countries to provide that treatment, according to a new report from the Fraser Institute. The authors of Leaving Canada for Medical Care, 2017 found that last year almost 63,500 Canadians travelled outside our borders specifically for medical care. This is about a 40% increase over the previous year.
