The college confirmed to CBC News that five investigations are ongoing and involve Alberta doctors against whom the most numerous and serious complaints have been made.
'If doctors won’t comply with an investigation by the regulator that’s supposed to govern them then they are, in essence, ungovernable,' said Toronto lawyer Paul Harte.
