In what’s being described as a “first of its kind” initiative, Shoppers Drug Mart officially launched a new patient care service in which people who use the company’s pharmacy services will have access to personal follow up and adherence-focused guidance over the phone.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved a record number of drugs in 2014, approving 41 first-of-a-kind drugs and a record number of medicines for rare diseases.
