B.C. has taken the first steps to allow pharmacists to prescribe for minor ailments and contraception with two proposed amendments that offer insights into the details of how this will work.

Alberta pharmacists are being asked to be on the lookout for forged prescriptions, especially those that come from other provinces and are for opioids and stimulants.
