The College of Family Physicians of Canada is urging the Ontario government to reconsider its plan to expand the scopes of practice for psychologists and other health professionals.
The two colleges say they’ve been contacted by Health Canada over reports that some physicians and NPs are issuing broad directives to authorize RNs to administer injections of bioactive agents, in contravention of the Food and Drugs Act.
