Led by a husband-and-wife duo–one a pharmacy professor and the other a chemistry professor–the research team has now set its sights on finding existing drugs to treat COVID-19 and other SARS coronaviruses.
“I had been researching to see which (vaccine booking systems) would be best for us, and when we got the offer to be part of the pilot for this new software, I said ‘OK.’”
Technological change is to be expected in any industry, but the pandemic has forced many pharmacy businesses to adapt and quickly implement new technologies.
