For many years pharmacists have been known as the “pill counters” or “druggists” hidden behind the pharmacy counter, but the truth is pharmacists are a lot more than that and have proven so throughout the pandemic.

Sunshine Drugs Family of Pharmacies has partnered with Pathway Health to offer their employees Pathway’s Cannabis Management System. 

Designed to assist pharmacists in educating patients and reinforcing safe medication disposal practices.

The hospital says it will not remove the breathing tube until the parents have had a chance to appeal the ruling.

Standards of Practice for Virtual Care was approved by the Alberta College of Pharmacy in June of 2022 and will come into full effect early next year.
