We're sitting on a stockpile and wasting doses at the same time. This wastage and surplus is occurring while much-coveted third doses of the vaccine are being restricted in most jurisdictions.
In total, the province is expecting to receive about 1,076,000 doses of the paediatric Pfizer vaccine from the federal government, which was approved by Health Canada last week.
