From her chair on the Health Council of Canada, Jeanne Besner has been directing research focused on the effective, efficient utilization of the health-care workforce, with a focus on nurses. Besner aims to understand the unique contributions various professionals offer in order to redesign how chronic care is delivered in a collaborative care model.
