It's important to recognize that our patients’ beliefs are as important as their “physical” makeup.

There needs to be a better way to calculate workload. What is the mix of ill and well patients? What are their ages? To simply ask for patient numbers indicates an oversimplification of an important process but if your target is only to announce how many more people have access to primary health care, then I suppose it is good PR.

Through a series of co-ordinated initiatives, Stephen Harper defused the healthcare bomb, even as the conspirators in the sector were plotting its assembly, by announcing a new federal funding formula for healthcare.
