The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario says Dr. Patrick Phillips, who is based in northeastern Ontario, is now barred from providing medical exemptions regarding COVID-19 vaccines, masking requirements and testing.

"Ivermectin must not be prescribed or dispensed, in any form, for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19,” the statement read.  

Not many pharmacies offer pre-travel PCR COVID-19 testing, but more are able to do so as regulations on testing and sample collection change.

The best way pharmacists can do better at maxing the opportunity of talking to their patients about medical cannabis is having the knowledge to address the most common questions patients may have.
