The children’s pain reliever shortage was an ideal opportunity for pharmacy leadership to step up with clear, rational, national messaging. Instead, once again, exhausted pharmacists—and the public—were left to jerry-rig their own solutions to a crisis.

My biggest motivation is the direct impact I have on my patients and colleagues. Since I started being involved, I have always kept in mind the wellbeing of the students, my patients and other professionals.
