Through principles of improv and theatre, the program aims to give physicians the tools to build deeper and more effective human connections with both their patients and their colleagues in the form of interactive ‘PowerPoint-free’ workshops.

I didn’t have the language for ‘health disparity’ as a child, but I understood that my Indigenous family’s experience of health and wellness was different from that of my non-Indigenous family. Years later, when I became a family physician working in my own community, those memories took on new meaning.
