Plain Language Labelling Regulations came into effect from Health Canada June 13, for non-prescription drug products. By June 30, 2021, labels and packaging of all non-prescription drug products on the market will reflect the new requirements.

Pharmacists Patricia Gerber, Craig Plain and Naomi Steenhof are winners of the 2017 Wellspring Leadership Awards. They receive a total of $10,000 from the Canadian Foundation for Pharmacy to pursue individual initiatives to develop personal leadership through study, experiential learning or mentorship.
