Ontario Health Minister Eric Hoskins says he is reviewing the province’s regulatory practices after it was revealed that the provincial college has the discretion to inform—or not inform—police when a doctor has potentially committed a crime.
The provincial college is asking the Nova Scotia Supreme Court to enforce a $200,000 fine it levied against a physician who lost her licence four years ago, the Chronicle Herald reports.
