The tent is aimed at allowing hospitals to continue procedures like intubation, biPAP and ventilation, which can spray particles up to 10 metres away. The device is portable and so allows patients to be transported more safely within the hospital.

In late October, the Ontario Specialists Association started a petition and letter writing campaign about the project, stating the OMA “has asked Canada Revenue Agency for personal physician and professional corporation tax data.”
