To recognize the efforts of pharmacists during the pandemic, the Canadian Foundation for Pharmacy doubled the total funding amount for this year's awards.
"All these people need medication," a nurse handed Lillooet pharmacist Carmen Langdon a list of evacuees from the town of Lytton who had fled the burned-down town without their prescription drugs. So Langdon, who had lived and helped out through wildfires before, went to work.
