Tom Yun is Toronto-based journalist for the Medical Post and Pharmacy Practice + Business. He has covered a wide range of topics in healthcare, including expanding scope of practice, disciplinary cases and the controversy over PrescribeIT.

Prior to joining the Canadian Healthcare Network, Tom was a digital writer/producer at CTV News and a breaking news reporter at the Toronto Star. His bylines can also be found at the Globe and Mail, Maclean’s, Canadaland and U of T News. As a student journalist for the Varsity, Tom was the first to break the news on the Jordan Peterson controversy in 2016, which subsequently became international news.

In his spare time, Tom enjoys road-tripping across North America, exploring new restaurants around the city and hanging out with his cat Wisteria.
