John Greiss is a pharmacist and has practiced in Ontario and Alberta. He has worked in a variety of settings, including for the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care; relief, retail and hospital pharmacies; chain drug stores and independents; and a compounding pharmacy. His interest in health policy led him to complete a law degree from the University of Alberta. Currently he is a pharmacy manager and writes about pharmacy and health policy issues at opined.ca.
