8/11/2020 What motivates doctors to get up in the morning and do a good job? Firstly, you really do have to know-love-understand the pathophysiology of homo sapiens. You don’t flunk Anatomy 101 and expect to succeed. Secondly, you must have a driven work-ethic, one that rewards your dopaminergic centres on an almost continual basis. But what we really need in medicine is some sort of incentive program, like Aeroplan, one with points for different accomplishments. How many points could you rack up?
