Ontario legislation updates: NP-led clinics expanding; pharmacy proposals controversial
In December 2009, the Ontario Legislature gave final Royal Assent to the Regulated Health Professions Statute Law Amendment Act, 2009 (Bill 179), which introduces expanded scopes of practice for 17 healthcare professionals, including pharmacists, nurses and physiotherapists.
