Rural Albertans more likely to be prescribed sulfonylurea for type 2 diabetes
The use of sulfonylurea declined over the years in the province, backed by new evidence and clinical practice guidelines. But it began to decrease four years later in Alberta’s rural areas than it did in its metropolitan and urban locations.
