Pharmacist-led study helps detect fake used fentanyl patches

In a recent pharmacist-led research project, Ontario community pharmacies used a rapid screening method to distinguish between authentic and counterfeit returned fentanyl patches to improve safety measures and make it easier to implement the "Safeguarding Our Communities" Act.
