Colin Leslie is a journalist in Toronto who has worked at the Medical Post for 28 years including the last 15 as editor-in-chief. He is also the president of the National Media Awards Foundation which since 1977 has promoted and honoured excellence in journalism, writing and visual creation in the Canadian magazine industry. In his downtime, he’s an avid reader, active in a book club, and even tried his hand at novel writing—before deciding his true passion lies in journalism! He's also been a volunteer member of a Rainbow Railroad settlement team that brought a LGBTQI+ people facing violence and oppression in their home countries to Canada as refugees.
